Some journeys begin with excitement and anticipation. Others begin with a sentence no parent is prepared to hear.
Our journey began the day our son Bryson was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
In an instant, life was divided into before and after. Before the hospital rooms, the long nights, and the language of scans, treatments, and uncertainty. Before learning how quickly childhood cancer can change everything about a family’s life.
Like so many parents facing this reality, we were suddenly navigating a world we knew nothing about. The emotional weight was overwhelming, but the practical challenges were just as real. Families facing childhood cancer are often thrown into a storm of medical decisions, financial strain, and the constant fear of the unknown.
Along the way, we also discovered something powerful: the impact of support. The people who show up. The small acts of kindness. The moments that remind families they are not walking this road alone.
This organization was born from that experience.
We created it because families facing childhood cancer deserve support from the very beginning of their journey. They deserve resources, community, and compassion during the moments when life feels most uncertain.
At the same time, we believe supporting families today must go hand in hand with fighting for a better future. Childhood cancer research remains critically underfunded, and progress depends on continued awareness, advocacy, and investment.
Today, our work focuses on three core areas: supporting families navigating childhood cancer, investing in research that improves outcomes for children, and building a community that refuses to look away from this disease.
Bryson’s story is the reason this mission exists. His journey continues to inspire the work we do and the hope we carry forward.
Our goal is simple: to ensure that families facing childhood cancer feel supported every step of the way, while working toward a future where fewer families have to walk this path at all.
